Why Sports for Students with Additional Needs?
Sports have long been a tool for teaching social inclusion to students with additional needs (McConkey et. al., 2013). Sports can bridge boundaries, teaching teamwork, empathy, and respect. This suggests sports can foster social inclusion and positive change (Sports as a Tool for Social Inclusion and Social Change, 2016).
